We all studied basic math, physics, and chemistry in short, science since our childhood, and our generation and previous generations are also much capable of knowing many of the basic math, & science concepts the reason behind this is, math was invented around 5000 years ago & physics was around 2000 years ago from then various scientists across the world has slowly made discoveries and proved them. Whereas computers were invented 200 years ago within this span, the evolution of computers took place. The evolution of computers was rather fast in comparison to discoveries in math & science because I think in science, scientists had to not only discover nature but also to prove them because without proof nobody believed. Whereas the whole idea of computer invention was to mainly help people, Eg. Charles Babbage invented the first mechanical computer to ease his math calculations. I would rather say that, unlike math and science which are based on nature, here computers or any other machines are more likely based on ideas and people might have invented things based on "what if" that led them to invent new machines, their inside parts and some of the wonderful machines like the computer! At the time of invention, people invented inefficient machines with the idea, and later, those were made smarter and more efficient. so computer science is for helping people and easing their lives. Here are some of the facts which can help better understand computer evolution.
First mechanical computer. Analytical engine(1837).
First computer programmer. Ada Lovelace(1800's).
First computer program. Lovelace wrote an algorithm for the Analytical Engine, the first computer program, to compute Bernoulli numbers(the 1800s).
